In a video posted on Twitter, as spotted by Sports Brief, players like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric were taking free-kicks against a mannequin wall and a goalkeeper.
The mannequins which are operated by a control panel on a tablet can be sighted jumping after the free-kicks are taken, akin to how a human wall would react in a game.
The operator can decide which particular mannequin to jump high or not.
Real Madrid have scored two free-kicks in three La Liga games this season which seem to suggest that the new technology is paying off.
Karim Benzema registered a goal from a free-kick last Sunday in Real Madrid's 3-1 away victory at Espanyol, while David Alaba also scored one against Almeria two weeks ago.
