Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is said to be a huge admirer of the 27-year-old midfielder and tried to sign him during his time in charge of Everton.

But he lost out to Tottenham two years ago as the player preferred to play under Jose Mourinho instead.

Last weekend at Stamford Bridge, Hojbjerg scored his first ever away goal for Tottenham in the Premier League against Chelsea.

The Three Main Reasons Why Casemiro Wants to Join Manchester United

There are three factors pushing Casemiro to seriously think about moving to Manchester, Sports Brief earlier reported.

The first reason is that Casemiro feels his time at Real Madrid is over after winning 15 major trophies, including 5 Champions League titles.

Secondly, 30-year-old Casemiro wants to experience a new environment. This is the main reason that persuaded Raphael Varane to make the switch to England last summer.

Lastly, Manchester United are offering a massive salary that is making it difficult for Casemiro to decline.role.
