Messi's next destination leaked

Sergio Aguero might have accidentally leaked the next club Messi will play for after he let slip details of their private conversation recently.

Messi's current deal with PSG runs out at the end of the season, but the club has apparently failed to convince him to sign on for another season.

But it appears his boyhood club, Newell's Old Boys - where he starred in the academy before heading to Camp Nou- has been disclosed as a possible destination by Aguero.

Messi tipped to win award

Sports Brief reported that PSG superstar, Messi is the front-runner to win a FIFA 'The Best' award for his performances during the last year.

The 35-year-old steered La Albiceleste to defeat France in the 2022 World Cup final via penalties, scoring two goals in regular time.

The career-defining triumph of winning the Mundial has boosted Messi's chances and made him a favourite for this annual prize.
