Statistics have revealed that Victor Osimhen, Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski have the fewest minutes per goal in Europe's top five leagues this term.

According to the report on Soccernet, only Haaland and Lewandowski have scored more frequently than Osimhen this season.

What are the strikers' stats?

The Nigerian is only behind Manchester City's Haaland (66.7 minutes per goal) and Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski (89.1).

With Osimhen climbing to third on the prestigious list, he has gone past French Ligue 1’s top scorer Mbappe (13 goals), and the German Bundesliga’s leading goal-getter, Christopher Nkunku (12).

After 18 games played this season in the Serie A, Osimhen and his teammates in the Serie A are topping the table with 47 points, while second-placed Milan have 38 points.

Osimhen storms the street

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported on how fans in Italy hailed Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who was unwinding ahead of his side's next game in the Serie A.

The Nigerian star has been the shining light for the Gli Azzurri this season in all competitions, as he keeps firing in the goals for the Italian giants.

Osimhen's amazing form this term has also made him a transfer target for clubs in the Premier League, with Manchester United in particular reported to be interested.

Napoli adds millions to Osimhen

Sports Brief also reported on Serie A giants, Napoli increasing Osimhen's transfer fee from €100-million to €140-million.

The club has taken this as an extra precaution - or perhaps an incentive - amid continued interest from Man United and Arsenal.

Osimhen has been in blistering form in Italy, topping the charts with 12 goals so far this season to help his side close in on the league title.
