According to the latest report, Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has been confirmed injured and is set for a spell on the sidelines.
The Napoli forward outclassed Liverpool defenders in the first half of their Champions League clash helping his side to a 4-1 win.
Osimhen won a penalty during the encounter, but goalkeeper Alisson Becker did well to save the spot kick to deny the former Lille man a Champions League goal.
The 23-year-old tormented the entire Liverpool defence and got injured late in the first half before substituting in the 43rd minute.

Napoli confirmed a second-degree lesion in the striker’s right bicep on Friday, but the player has already started his recovery program.
Jonathan Woodgate urges Osimhen
Meanwhile, a former defender at Spanish club Real Madrid, Jonathan Woodgate, has disclosed that Nigerian international Victor Osimhen is destined for the English Premier League.
Osimhen, who looked injured for most parts of the first half, was later replaced in the 43rd minute, but he already left an indelible mark as far as Woodgate is concerned.
The former Real Madrid star told The Boot Room via Punch:
“The two centre-halves (Van Dijk and Joe Gomez) will be absolutely delighted to see the back of Osimhen after he was substituted because he was so difficult to play against. He is destined for the Premier League.”

Sports Brief earlier reported that Osimhen is gradually becoming a cult hero in Naples following his impressive form for Serie A outfit Napoli.
The 23-year-old joined the Partenopeans from Ligue 1 side Lille in the summer of 2020 in a deal reported to be worth €50 million (£45m/$59m).
Osimhen has scored a total of 30 goals in all competitions since joining the club, including 18 goals last season.
