Manchester United have announced the acquisition of Christian Eriksen as the club's second acquisition in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The Danish attacker was announced on Friday, July 15 as the second official signing for Manchester United after Dutch defender Tyrell Malacia.

Eriksen has been on United’s radar all summer as Ten Hag looks to bolster his creativity in the centre of the pitch. And the announcement of the player’s arrival could be imminent.

He joins the Old Trafford outfit on a three-year deal after a remarkable brief stint with Brentford.

"Manchester United is pleased to confirm that Christian Eriksen has joined the club, signing a contract until June 2025," a club statement read.

Meanwhile, Manchester United have hit the right notes in pre-season under new manager Erik Ten Hag, winning all two of their pre-season games.
