Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo remains one of the most famous footballers on the planet but he had a more relaxed evening during one of his first dates with Gemma Atkinson.

The striker enjoyed tea and watched a number of episodes of the beloved British comedy show ‘Only Fools and Horses’ on his first date with former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson.

Daily Star reports that the pair had a brief relationship back in 2007 during Ronaldo’s first spell at the Old Trafford, but they soon went their separate ways.

Atkinson said as per SunSport:

“We went to my house, drank cups of tea and watched Only Fools And Horses. Genuinely. I don’t know if he’s into it now but he seemed to enjoy it."

“It was really glamorous."

It was gathered that Ronaldo first had an encounter with Atkinson initially shortly after she departed her role on Hollyoaks, where she played the character of Lise Hunter.
