It was the third straight away loss conceding three goals in all, against Brentford, Brighton and now Wolves, as noted by BBC Sports, but it certainly was not the first time the German had excuses.

Klopp blames wind for Wolves loss
The former Borussia Dortmund manager had his team eliminated from the 2018/19 FA Cup by Wolves after a 2-1 loss at the Molineux and gave excuses that it was too windy during the game, as noted by Sun UK.
''The wind didn't help, players struggled to control the ball,'' he said after the match, which was quite windy in fairness.
Klopp blames snow for Leicester draw
