“The third goal I don’t count because it was the first time they passed the halfway line in the second half. The other two goals, going into a game with all the things we said during the week and before the game, then this is the start, is horrible.” he said.

How Wolves responded to Klopp

The team's social media team had earlier celebrated their 3-0 with a detailed graphics of the afternoon, displaying captain Ruben Neves celebrating the third goal alongside other details.

They however changed the graphics after Klopp's post-match conference where he complained about the third goal, displaying the score as 2-0, struck out Neves name and added a picture of him disappointed by Wolves goal disallowed by VAR in the FA Cup game against Liverpool.

How fans reacted to Wolves mockery

Football fans found the incident deserving to Klopp and praised the creativity of the social media team.

Klopp assess Liverpool loss

Sports Brief earlier reported that Jürgen Klopp made a scathing assessment of his team's embarrassing loss to Wolves and claimed there is no excuse for such.

As he had done in previous weeks, he once again apologised to the fans of the club after the team delivered yet another uninspiring display.

However, after claiming no excuse he went ahead to complain about a legit goal, Wolves' third scored by their skipper and Portuguese international Ruben Neves.
