Sports Broadcaster, Robert Marawa, originally broke the news on Twitter.

The South African then confirmed that the 41-year-old was fired by Golden Arrows, with the defeat against Mamelodi Sundowns serving as the last straw.

Peter Shahulile scored a hattrick as Sundowns beat Golden Arrows 6-0 in their DStv Premiership yesterday, The Citizen reported.

Seema was only appointed as Golden Arrows coach last year after helping Chippa United avoid relegation.

The club have since released a statement confirming that Mabhuti Khenyeza and Vusumuzi Vilakazi will serve as interim co-coaches until the end of the season.

Seema’s sacking comes on the heels of SuperSport United parting ways with Kaitano Tembo. Tembo was also let go after a string of disappointing results. The loss to TTM in the Nedbank Cup was the final nail in Tembo’s coffin.

Benni McCarthy was the first recent casualty as he was let go by AmaZulu. Benni was replaced by Brandon Truter, who is overseeing the Usuthu until the end of the season.

With only a few games remaining and results crucial at this stage of the season, other coaches could also be on the chopping block.

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are two clubs where the coaches are also facing the axe.

SuperSport United are on the hunt for a new coach, 3 former Premier Soccer League managers linked with the job

SuperSport United require a new coach after parting ways with Kaitano Tembo, and three former DStv Premiership managers have since been linked with the club, Sports Brief earlier reported.

As reported by KickOff, the club made initial contact with Benni McCarthy but have not formally approached him for the post. However, Matsatsantsa are believed to have been admirers of the former AmaZulu coach since before he coached Usuthu.

Gavin Hunt, a former manager at SuperSport United, and Muhsin Ertugral have also been linked with the vacant role. Gavin Hunt achieved great success with the club during his last stint in charge.
