Sportsbrief.com has learned that, Ghanaian teenager, Abdul Issahaku Fatawu and two others are among players Liverpool plans on watching at the upcoming AFCON.

According to sources, Liverpool, in addition to Issahaku Fatawu, will also be keeping tabs on 20-year-old Guinean, Aguibou Camara of Olympiakos and 17-year-old Ivorian striker, Karim Konaté with ASEC Mimosas.

The Media Expert for the Confederation of African Football (CAF), took to his Twitter social media account to confirm Liverpool's interest in signing the three players.

"This is 100% true [Thumbs up]. Aguibou Camara, Karim Konaté, Fatawu Issahaku are the three main players LFC will look towards this AFCON. The club are looking for a very specific type of player it seems", he tweeted.

The 17-year-old Ghanaian all round attacker has been linked with moves abroad to big European clubs in the past with a move to Bayern Leverkusen failing at the last minute earlier this year.

At the moment, Fatawu is being linked with a move to Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon in January but with the latest coming from Liverpool, that deal is not done anymore than the Leverkusen one.

Liverpool has been heavily tipped to be the destination Issahaku Fatawu himself favors over all the other clubs that have reportedly showed interest in him.

Abdul Issahaku Fatawu is at the moment a player of Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) after he joined them on season loan from lower division side, Steadfast United.

Fatawu, with six goals to his name already in the ongoing GPL season, is in Doha, Qatar, with the rest of the Ghana Black Stars team as they prepare to have another go at winning a fifth African Cup of Nations (AFCON) come January 2022.

Jordan racks up great numbers in another goalless game as Palace thrash Norwich

While Jordan Ayew may not have scored a goal in Crystal Palace's 3:0 victory over last-placed Norwich in the EPL, the Ghanaian's game numbers were phenomenal.

Jordan Ayew was everywhere for Patrick Vieira's team, helping out wherever he was needed whether defense or attack and the numbers back that up.
