Son of former Ghana coach, Charles Kwabla Akonnor, Charles Jesaja Herrmann has revealed his desire to play for the Black Stars.
The former Germany youth international is ready to switch allegiance and represent Ghana, the country of his father.
Jesaja Herrmann, who plays for Belgium topflight side KV Kortrijk in an interview with Tv3 confirmed his interest in playing for Ghana.
"Of course that's my dream," he said on Tv3's Warm Up Plus show. "I want to play for them. I want to represent the country," he added.
Charles Jesaja Herrmann is in the country for holidays following the end of the Belgium topflight league.
The former Wolfsburg player disclosed that although he is home, he has been training with his father, Charles Akonnor at the beach.
Jesaja Herrmann made 13 appearances for his club in the just ended campaign.
KV Kortrijk sign son of former Ghana coach Charles Kwabla Akonnor
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Son of Ghana coach, Charles Kwablan Akonnor, Charles Jesaja Herrmann, has joined Belgian First Division club, KV Kortrijk after leaving VfL Wolfsburg.
The 21-year-old, who is following in the footsteps of his father, signed a three-year deal with the club and has immediately started pre-season with the team.
KV Kortrijk confirmed the arrival of the German-born Ghanaian on its official website on Friday morning.

FootballCharles Kwablan Akonnor, the former head coach of the Black Stars, is preparing to uncover some of the problems in the Ghana team.
The ex-Black Stars captain was sacked as Ghana coach in September 2021 following Ghana's defeat to South Africa in the World Cup qualifiers.
Akonnor has not spoken about his departure since but in an interview with 3 Sports, the 48-year-old said there are issues in the team that needs to be exposed.
