English-born Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo will not join Ghana on international duty this week for the World Cup play-offs against Nigeria, according to Bristol World.
The Bristol City forward suffered a knee injury on Saturday and was withdrawn after six minutes playing against West Bromwich Albion.
After the game, Bristol City manager Nigel Pearson confirmed that Semenyo had sustained a “jarred knee”.
Semenyo had a scan on Sunday by Bristol City's medical team to determine the extent of the injury and is now set for a spell out.
