Jonathan Mensah made the wish of a young Columbus Crew fan come true after granting his request of having his jersey.
The Columbus Crew captain spotted the young fan with a placard asking for his jersey after the match against Toronto FC.
And in a video posted on Twitter, Mensah went all the way to the fan to gift him his jersey, leaving the boy with smiles.
The 31-year-old Ghana defender featured for Columbus Crew as they came from behind to beat Toronto FC at the Lower.com Field.
Jesus Jimenez opened the scoring for the visitors in the 14th minute but Crew returned from the half time break stronger.
Lucas Zelarayan leveled for Columbus Crew in the 56th minute before Derrick Etienne scored the winner with 25 minutes remaining.
Columbus Crew are unbeaten in their three opening matches and lead the Eastern Conference table.

Columbus Crew captain Jonathan Mensah has praised the character of his teammates after coming back from a goal down to beat Toronto FC.
Second half goals from Lucas Zelarayan and Derrick Etienne canceled out Jesus Jimenez's first half strike.
"Great effort from the boys, we keep grinding together. Massive respect and love to all those who came out to support us in that extreme cold. Thank you all for the support," he wrote on Twitter.

Jonathan Mensah stars for Columbus Crew in pre-season
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana international Jonathan Mensah was on the scoresheet as Columbus Crew thumped lower-tier outfit Charleston in the 2022 Carolina Challenge Cup to end their pre-season preparations ahead of the new season.
The 31-year-old centre-half broke the deadlock after just nine minutes before midfielder Lucas Zelarayan doubled the lead in the 27th minute to go to halftime with a comfortable lead.
