Mike Stankovic, a Serbian trainer and Awal Kamin Salifu, a performance analyst, have been included to the technical team of the Black Stars ahead of AFCON 2021.
Stankovic will deputize Milovan Rajevac following the absence of Otto Addo for the tournament in Cameroon while Kamin Salifu joins Edward Acheampong as the team's performance analysts.
The Ghana Football Association confirmed the arrival of the duo as the team prepares for the Nations Cup this month.
The addition of Mike Stankovic was based on Milovan Rajevac's request, following the unavailability of assistant coach Otto Addo.
Mike Stankovic is very experienced and has spent most of his career in the Major League Soccer (MLS), where he had an 18 year career.
He was also assistant to Milovan Rajevac at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa 2010, as the Black Stars reached the quarter finals of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Awal Kamin Salifu is a performance analyst and was formerly attached to the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana and Nordsjaelland FC in Denmark.
Awal has enormous experience in player performance analysis and monitoring and will be a top quality addition to the Technical team.
The Black Stars have been preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations for the past three weeks in the United Arab Emirates.
The team will play Africa Champions Algeria on Wednesday in a pre-AFCON friendly before leaving for Cameroon on January 7, 2022.

FootballEarlier, SportsBrief.com reported that, Arsenal star Thomas Partey, Daniel Amartey of Leicester City and Crystal Palace's Jordan Ayew have arrived at the Black Stars camp in Qatar ahead of the AFCON 2021.
The English-based stars and Swindon Town goalkeeper Joseph Luke Wollacot joined the team as preparations continued for the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon this month.
In photos posted on Twitter, sighted by SportsBrief.com, the players immediately zoomed into training as coach Milovan Rajevac supervised practice.
