Callum Hudson-Odoi has touched down in Germany to complete a loan switch to Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

The 21-year-old English-born Ghanaian will sign a season long loan deal after undergoing medical on Tuesday.

In a video posted on social media, the Chelsea winger is seen arriving with his brother as he finalizes his loan move.

Hudson-Odoi rejected moves to English Premier League rivals to join the Bundesliga outfit for the 2022/23 season.

The three-time capped England winger is reportedly in talks with the Ghana Football Association over a nationality switch.

And it is believed that he wants regular play time to convince Ghana coach Otto Addo for an invite before the tournament in Qatar in November.

Hudson-Odoi, under the new FIFA rules, will be eligible to represent Ghana in November.

He did not make an appearance for the Blues in the new season, prompting his move to Leverkusen.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Callum Hudson-Odoi is on the verge of joining German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen in the transfer window.

The 21-year-old English-born Ghanaian is set to sign a one-year loan deal to join Leverkusen this summer.

According to Evening Standard, negotiations are at advance stage between the player's representatives and the German club.

Hudson-Odoi was absent for Chelsea, with head coach Thomas Tuchel giving no definitive date for his return.

He initially suffered from an Achilles injury, but it developed into something else. His last appearance of the season came in the FA Cup tie against Luton.
