Chelsea was hosting Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in a Premier League fixture. John Terry had put Chelsea ahead and United's coach Sir Alex Ferguson was keen on getting at least a point.

Ferguson decided to introduce Michael Owen and Gabriel Obertan while Chelsea brought on Salomon Kalou with five minutes left to play. It was during this stoppage in play that hawk-eyed fans noticed someone brushing his teeth in the stands.

Givemesport reports that the man identified as David explained that he forgot to brush his teeth before the game.

I was wanting to get to the game and I put it in my pocket and forgot to brush my teeth.
I thought no one was looking. I always brush my teeth before I go anywhere. I thought no one was looking at me.

Reece James bumps into referee Stuart Attwell during Chelsea's heavy loss to Leeds United

Sports Brief had earlier reported that a funny video of Chelsea defender Reece James bumping into centre referee Stuart Attwell has surfaced online.

The incident occurred on Sunday when Chelsea played away to Leeds United at Elland Road, where Attwell was the match referee. Chelsea were whitewashed by the hosts 3-0.

It is not clear the exact time that the incident took place, but it happened in the second half. Chelsea were already trailing before the break by two goals courtesy of goals from Rodrigo Moreno and Brenden Aaronson. Jack Harrison scored a third one to condemn Chelsea to its first league loss of the season.
