Chelsea is set to lose Charly Musonda for free as the Belgian contract with the Blues expires at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old has made just seven first-team appearances since joining Chelsea back in 2012 as a teenager.

According to a report via The Sun, Musonda revealed that he will become a free agent and leave the club once his contract expires at the end of the season.

The former Anderlecht wonderkid has been plagued by fitness issues after spending two years on the sidelines through injury.

Musonda suffered horrific cruciate ligament damage while on loan with doctors only giving him a 20 percent chance of playing again.

Italian side, Roma is believed to be interested in bringing the 25-year-old to the Serie A as Jose Mourinho plans to reunite with the forward.

Thomas Tuchel on Real Madrid list

Meanwhile, Chelsea fans have been placed in panic mode as Real Madrid has placed Thomas Tuchel on their managerial shortlist ahead of next season.

According to Football London, the German tactician is reportedly on the shortlist of managers to replace Carlo Ancelotti should the Italian leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season.

Tuchel has caught the eye of the Spanish giants after winning the Champions League with Chelsea last season.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Antonio Rudiger has agreed personal terms with Juventus over a summer move from Premier League side Chelsea in what the Blues' fans won't be happy with.

Chelsea chiefs have been trying to make the strong defender commit his future to Stamford Bridge before they were sanctioned by the United Kingdom government.

And with the sanctions imposed on Chelsea, the Blues won't be able to offer players a new contract and also unable to register fresh legs.
