Ghanaian Politician and Business Mogul Ready to Sell Romelu Lukaku When He Buys Chelsea

• Chairman Wontumi has disclosed that Chalese forward Romelu Lukaku will be the first player he sells if he becomes the owner of the London-based club
• The business mogul has made a statement of intent in owning Chelsea after Roman Abramovic decided to part with his prized asset on the back of the Russian invasion of Ukraine
• Abramovic has since handed the running of the club to Chelsea Trustees with a number of billionaires rumoured to be interested in purchasing the Stamford Bridge outfit

Ghanaian politician and business mogul, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, could look to offload Romelu Lukaku if he becomes the new owner of Chelsea.

Popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, Antwi Boasiako earlier made claims that he has plans to purchase the London-based club which has been put on sale by its Russian owner Roman Abramovic.

In an interview on Wontumi FM, the New Patriotic Party regional chairman said he would seek to get rid of the Belgium striker without blinking an eye.

What Antwi Boasiako said

"I want to go and buy Chelsea Football Club. I am interested in it. Those who buy clubs are not footballers, but business people. I am also a businessman. I'm into gold mining. Why can't we buy the club?" He quipped.

He continued: "I want to join the bidding. If I become the owner, I want the Brazilian player at Real Madrid, Vinicius Jr - and to sell off Romelu Lukaku. I will speak with Manchester United to see if I can also buy Cristiano Ronaldo for Chelsea. I'd also look at signing Lionel Messi.

"Roman Abramovich has done his best. It is now time for him to support a Ghanaian or an African to buy Chelsea." Chairman Wontumi ended.
