Jude Bellingham is unwilling to extend his contract with Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund following interest from European champions Real Madrid.

The England international has been heavily linked with a move to the La Liga giants who are keen to phase out their current midfield setup of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric.

According to Madrid Universal, Jude Bellingham is alleged to have fulfilled his word after Real Madrid instructed him not to extend his contract with Borussia Dortmund.

Bellingham’s current deal is set to expire in 2025 and the England international has been heavily linked with several top European clubs including Real Madrid.

Dortmund value Bellingham at a lofty €150 million but it is expected that the Spanish giants will get the 19-year-old midfielder at a cut-price amount with a year left on his contract.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund are hoping to sign Liverpool midfielder, Naby Keita as a replacement for England international Jude Bellingham when he leaves the club, Team Talk reports.

Dortmund could be prepared to accept an offer of around £83m for Bellingham with Real Madrid said to be keenly interested in the 19-year-old midfielder.

Jude Bellingham is regarded as one of Borussia Dortmund’s key players as the England international has made 7 starts in 7 appearances for the Bundesliga giants this season.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Liverpool’s quest to sign young England sensation Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund is set to be frustrated by the German Bundesliga club.

The Reds have identified Bellingham as their number one transfer target this summer as Jurgen Klopp tries to strengthen the Liverpool midfield with younger players.

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has insisted the Bundesliga team will fight to keep the 19-year-old midfielder in 2023.
