However, the Bayern Munich winger might have put his starting role at the team in jeopardy, after making an unexpected jaunt to France for the Paris Fashion Week on the team’s off day, SB Nation reports.

Julian Nagelsmann, the manager of the Bundeslinga titans, made some remarks on the subject and did not appear particularly pleased with his player's choice.

The Bayern coach suggested that if the trip affected Gnabry’s performances on the pitch for the team, the German international could expect there to be consequences for his actions.

The club held their team presentation at the Allianz Arena in which they unveiled their squad for the new season, and also welcomed new signing, Sadio Mané.
