Robert Lewandowski is looking forward to his future at Barcelona but hasn’t forgotten his time at Bayern Munich.
The Polish striker finally secured a move away from the Allianz Arena as the Spanish and German giants agreed on a fee.
Lewandowski has been pushing for a move away from Bayern and has appeared very unhappy at the club. He hardly spoke to teammates during pre-season training, which he arrived late for, and has publicly expressed his desire to leave, DailyMail reported.
Lewandowski also received death threats from fans after announcing that he wanted a move away.

Despite the poor way in which his relationship with the fans and club came to an end, Lewandowski still had high praise for those associated with his former side.
Taking to his Facebook page, the striker posted the following message:
“I would like to thank my teammates, staff members, club management, and everyone who have always supported me and made it possible for us to win trophies at FC Bayern Munich. I am proud of what we achieved together.
“Above all, I want to thank the fans.It is you who make FC Bayern Munich the special club that it is. I’m privileged to have spent 8 wonderful years with this club and its fans and it will remain in my heart forever,” he said.
