The football world has rallied in support of Netherlands national team coach, Louis van Gaal following the revelation that he is battling cancer.
The Dutch coach had on Sunday, April 3rd revealed he had been receiving treatment for prostate cancer which he said he has been diagnosed with earlier.
The England national team was one of the first teams to react to the news as they sent a message of support to the former Manchester United manager.
The German national soccer team also followed suit to wish the former Bayern Munich coach a speedy recovery.
Several football fans also wished the 70-year-old manager a speedy recovery from prostate cancer.

Van Gaal had a hugely successful career in management as he won titles with top clubs including Barcelona, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich.

Meanwhile, Louis van Gaal will hope to better his 3rd place finish at the 2014 World Cup when he leads the Netherlands to the 2022 edition in Qatar.
According to Sky Sports, Van Gaal took charge as Netherlands boss for a third time in August 2021 after he replaced Frank de Boer after a disappointing Euro 2020 campaign.
The Netherlands have been drawn in group A at the 2022 World Cup with the host nation, Qatar, Senegal, and Ecuador.

FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported Van Gaal revealed he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, but he still plans to lead his team at the World Cup in Qatar in seven months' time.
The players "don't know it", the 70-year-old told RTL television, adding that he has already undergone 25 bouts of radiotherapy, including in the evening during training camps with the Dutch team.
"It's part of my life," he added, in an interview marking the upcoming release of a film about his life, entitled LOUIS.
