  • Raphinha is not prepared to leave Barcelona as a failure and is determined to succeed
  • The Brazilian winger has endured a difficult start to his career with the Catalan giants
  • Raphinha has fallen down the pecking order after racking up just two goals in La Liga

Raphinha believes he still has lots to offer Barcelona and is not looking forward to leaving Camp Nou anytime soon, despite an underwhelming campaign so far.

The Brazilian winger joined La Blaugrana amid huge fanfare last summer from Leeds United, but the 26-year-old has failed to meet the Catalan club’s expectations.

Raphinha has only managed two goals in 16 appearances for Barca, which has prompted reports of the club willing to offload the Brazilian after just one season at Camp Nou.

The 26-year-old winger is determined to succeed at the La Liga club however, even after his struggles during the first half of the campaign, Barca Universal reports.

Raphinha said he has no desire to leave Barcelona anytime soon, and is determined to silence his critics and get back into the groove after falling down the pecking order at the club.

Arsenal’s stance on Barcelona’s Raphinha

Meanwhile, Arsenal Sporting Director, Edu remains interested in signing Barcelona winger Raphinha, having wanted to sign him from Leeds United in the summer of 2022, HITC reports.

The Gunner's official has always been a big admirer of his Brazilian compatriot and still thinks he would be a good fit at the English club.

Arsenal had made contact with Barcelona earlier in January about bringing the winger to the Emirates Stadium, after missing out on Ukraine international winger Mykhaylo Mudryk to Chelsea.

Barcelona ready to offload winger

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Barcelona being ready to lose on Raphinha, with the Catalan giants considering offloading the Brazilian winger after just one season.

After splashing €65-million to beat Chelsea to the signature of the 26-year-old winger, Raphinha has failed to establish himself in the Barca team so far this season.

La Blaugrana manager, Xavi prefers playing Ousmane Dembele in Raphinha’s favourite role, which has limited the Brazilian to contributing just two goals in 18 games.
