Following Barcelona's bright start to the 2022/23 season, the Spanish giants are so popular at the moment that people can't even buy official shirts anymore.

The Catalonia-based club giants recorded an emphatic 5-1 victory over Victoria Plzen on matchday one of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.

Unsurprisingly, the demand for the club's jersey has already hit the roof.

The Spanish publication further reports that the new jersey could only be bought online, with the cost in access of €69.99 among the other two team kits.

Per BLM, Barcelona were out of stock due to the heavy investment in the summer transfer market following the signings of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich and Leeds United star Raphinha.

Barcelona and Real Madrid Stars Dominate UEFA Champions League Team of the Week

Sports Brief earlier reported that Barcelona and Real Madrid stars make up the bulk of the UEFA Champions League team of the week with five players from the La Liga giants making the 11-man list.

Robert Lewandowski who scored a hat-trick against Viktoria Plzen, leads the trio of Barcelona’s players including Ousmane Dembele and Jules Kounde in the team of the week.

Real Madrid who earned a 3-0 win at Celtic on Tuesday night has two players listed in the team of the week with Thibaut Courtois and Vinicius Junior making the cut, Whoscored reports.
