Barcelona supremo Joan Laporta was sighted in the Spotify Camp Nou stands during his side's clash against Real Valladolid with a black eye.

The 60-year-old businessman was in the company of vice-president Rafa Yuste and Valladolid's president and Real Madrid legend Ronaldo Nazario.

Laporta first appeared in the Barcelona directors' box with sunglasses that covered a bruise on one of his eyes.

Currently, it is unclear what happened to the Barcelona president as there have been no reports regarding it.

Meanwhile, Joan Laporta is not bothered by reports that they could be sanctioned over their failure to comply with Financial Fair Play (FFP).

The Catalan giants find themselves in hot water when it comes to their financial situation, this time with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).

UEFA are investigating 20 teams, including Barcelona, for failing to comply with the Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules for the 2020/21 season.

Barcelona President Joan Laporta Promises Xavi That New Signings Will Be Registered Before Season Starts

Sports Brief had earlier reported that Club President Joan Laporta promised Xavi that the players will be registered before the weekend’s fixture.

Barcelona have reportedly submitted all the required documents and are only awaiting the finalisation of the process. Laporta has therefore asked Xavi to prepare his team for the weekend, including the five new signings.

The club expects the process to be finalised tomorrow morning (Friday, August 12) or Saturday at the latest. Despite not officially registering their new players yet, Barcelona are already trying to sign more players.
