Barcelona have once again come in for criticism, this time for their treatment of Martin Braithwaite.

The Spanish club have faced a lot of backlash in recent weeks, especially for their treatment of Frenkie de Jong.

Now the director of the Danish Players’ Association, Michael Sahl Hansen, has blasted the Spanish club for their treatment of Martin Braithwaite. who is Barcelona have been criticized for their treatment of Martin Braithwaite, BarcaBlaugranes reported.

The Danish striker was told to find a new club as he is deemed surplus to requirements at the club.

Barcelona failed to give him a squad number and are threatening to rip up his contract.

Hansen is upset with Barcelona’s actions, calling them completely unreasonable.

“The treatment that Martin is experiencing is something that probably lies somewhere between bullying and harassment,” he said.
“FC Barcelona has not violated any legal rules, but the moral ones are a different conversation, he added.

Braithwaite still has two years left on his contract and has turned down approaches from other clubs in order to remain with the Blaugrana.

He has stated that he would leave if FC Barcelona promised to pay his salary due for the remaining two years of his contract. Barcelona are trying to save money, are not open to that idea.

As reported by The Daily Mail, Barcelona are ready to go to war with the player over his refusal to leave.

FC Barcelona are tired of their players refusing to leave the club this transfer window.

The Spanish side have earmarked a few players as ‘non-essential’ at the club and have actively tried to sell them to fund new signings.

Unfortunately for the Blaugrana, the players aren’t interested in giving up their status of being Barcelona players. One of those players is striker Martin Braithwaite.
