France international Jules Kounde will go into history book as one of the players to leave Sevilla and join Barcelona.

The 23-year-old arrived at Camp Nou last Thursday, July 28 after sealing his move from the fellow La Liga side for a deal reported around €55 million.

The Frenchman signed for the Catalan giants in one of the busiest summer transfer windows for the Catalan giants after the acquisition of Robert Lewandowski, Raphinha, Frank Kessie, and Andreas Christensen.

He joins a list of notable stars to wear the Red and Blue shirt, notable among them are Seydou Keita, Dani Alves, Adriano, Ansu Fati, Ivan Rakitic, Aleix Vidal, Clement Lenglet and Luuk de Jong.

Newly Signed Barcelona Defender Jules Kounde Completes First Training Session

Meanwhile, Kounde has successfully passed the medicals and had his first-ever training session with Barcelona.

In a video posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, Barcelona shared a short video of the Frenchman's first training session at the club.

The 23-yeard-old was training individually as he's yet to fully recover from his injury.

The versatile defender started in the gym and then spent some time on the field. Kounde will not travel to the US for the pre-season and is expected to stay in Spain.
