Memphis Depay extended his philanthropic works in Ghana by building a new bathroom and toilet for a school for the deaf and blind.

The Barcelona star unveiled the newly-built structure at the Cape Coast school for the Deaf and Blind on Friday.

In a video posted on Twitter, the 28-year-old was happy to see his work changed the lives of Ghanaians.

Memphis Depay arrived in Ghana on Wednesday night and spent Thursday in Bukom, the central of Accra, where he met folks of the Boxing centre in Ghana.

The Holland forward was born to a Ghanaian father on the Netherlands and always returns to spent time with his people.

Depay enjoyed a decent first season in the Spanish La Liga, where he scored 12 goals in 28 matches.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Netherlands and Barcelona ace Memphis Depay and his entourage featuring erstwhile Juventus midfielder Edgar Davids and Spartak Moscow attacker Quincy Promes appear to be enjoying their vacation in Ghana.

Memphis and his fellow Dutch icons arrived in Ghana in the early hours of Wednesday, June 15, for their holidays after a long season.

The 28-year-old has made it a ritual to visit Ghana to reconnect to his roots and undertake charity work in the past few years.

Memphis Depay arrives in Ghana for holidays

Dutch forward Memphis Depay may not be playing for the country of birth as a professional footballer but his love for Ghana continues to grow.

Depay was born Moordrecht in 1994 to a Ghanaian father, Dennis Depay, and Dutch mother, Cora Schensema.

He grew up in the Netherlands as a child and decided to represent the Oranje at the international level.
