Star Banyana Banyana forward Jermaine Seoposenwe was in fine form at the beginning of the year for her Portuguese club SC Braga.

Seopesenwe provided five assists, won a penalty and scored a goal for good measure in Braga's landslide 9-0 win over AD Ovarense in the Women's Portuguese Cup. The result sees Braga advance to the quarterfinals of the competition, though their opponents are yet to be revealed with the draw still to take place.

Braga are the defending champions of the competition, as stated on the club's website.

Seoposenwe was not one to downplay her performance, saying in a tweet:

"Started the year off with a bang… five assists, won a penalty and scored a goal! I’ll let the numbers speak for me this year!"

Her followers were excited for her after the excellent performance.
