Podolski outrageous finish

The forward's goal catalogue can beat any other player since the German is blessed with a magical left foot.

During Gornik Zabrze's encounter with Pogon Sczczecin, Podolski picked up the ball inside his own half following a crunching tackle; from his teammate.

He spotted the goalkeeper, who was way out of his line, then unleashed an outrageous shot which lobbed over the keeper, stunning the entire stadium.

The opposition's keeper scampered towards the goal trying to stop the shot but his attempt to save it was fruitless.

Podolski scored 49 goals for Germany in 130 matches, the third highest behind Miroslav Klose and legendary Gerd Muller.
