Legendary Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed the club to challenge for the Premier League title under the tutelage of Mikel Arteta.
Wenger, who spent more than 20 years as the Gunners' boss has not been back at the club since his brutal sacking in 2018.
According to The Sun, the Frenchman has also steadfastly declined to comment on the team he left behind after his exit.

According to Wenger, his former side to launch an unlikely title challenge and even win it - thanks to their current crop of young and talented players.
The 72-year-old further expressed his admiration for the job being done by Mikel Arteta, who once played under him during his time at the club.
“I would say they are moving in the right direction. I honestly think there is no weak position in the team... they are young, promising players and they have bought well this year," SunSport quoted Wenger saying.
“There is no completely dominating team this season and Arsenal has a chance with the potential that is there.

Football“We used to be in the top four and why not again? You cannot even rule out the fact that they can fight for the title and hopefully they can do it," the Frenchman added.
