Gabriel Jesus is set for a huge payday when he finalizes his move from Manchester City to Arsenal after both teams agreed to a £45m deal for the Brazilian forward.

The Gunners have identified Jesus as a top transfer target this summer and will come in to replace Alexandre Lacazette who left the North London team for Lyon after his contract expired.

According to The Sun, the 25-year-old forward is set to triple his wages when he finally arrives the Gunners and becomes Arsenal’s top earner after agreeing to a mega-deal worth around £13.7million-a-year.

Jesus whose present take-home package with Man City is £90k-a-week will now earn well above £250,000-a-week when he completes his move to the Emirates Stadium 90MIN reports.

The Brazilian forward will over current Arsenal’s top earner, Thomas Partey by a mile as the Ghanaian midfielder presently earns £200,000 a week with the Gunners.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta is done yet in the transfer market as the Arsenal manager is already considering making a move for Lens midfielder Seko Fofana Caught Offside reports.
