Partey finished with 49 per cent of the votes, edging out teammates and contenders Martin Ødegaard and Bukayo Saka, who finished in third.
His rich vein of form will be music in the ears of interim Black Stars trainer Otto Addo as the midfielder will be on captain duties owing to the suspension of Andre Ayew when Ghana cross swords with Nigeria later this month in the World Cup play-offs.
"Congratulations to Thomas Partey, who has been named as the Arsenal.com Player of the Month for the very first time! Our Ghanaian midfielder was in outstanding form throughout February, as we won all three of our Premier League matches." A statement on the club's website reported.
How did Partey perform in February?
Thomas started the month with a typically combative performance in our midfield as we won 1-0 at Wolves, and helped shore things up as we were reduced to 10 men with 20 minutes remaining, a club statement read.
He then was impressive in our victory against Brentford, dominating the middle of the park as we claimed another hard-fought three points.
The 28-year-old helped us round off the month in style with an energetic, driving display in midfield as we came from a goal down to beat Wolves late on at Emirates Stadium.
