Mohammed Kudus reacts to Ajax's victory

Mohammed Kudus has expressed delight after scoring his first goal of the season. The talented midfielder also explained why he boycotted training to force a move to Everton.

“There are more important things in life. You should always be grateful," he told ESPN. “There are two sides: myself and the club. There must be an agreement. I knew it could go either way. Whichever way it went, I could handle it. You've seen that I'm completely focused.
“I look forward to what lies ahead. I'm here now, so my focus is on the club. I'm doing my best to help the team win," Kudus added.

Mohammed Kudus refuses to train as he forces Everton move

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has made his intentions clear that he wants to leave Ajax after staging a self imposed boycott of training on Wednesday.

Following the examples of new Manchester United player Antony Santos and Lisandro Martinez, the 22-year-old refused to train in protest against the club's refusal to let him join Everton.

The Black Stars ace had agreed personal terms with the English Premier League club but Ajax decided against the move.
