  • Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew played all 90 minutes for Crystal Palace in their 3:0 thumping of Norwich in their round 20 English Premier League (EPL) game
  • The 30-year-old may have not scored a goal but his game numbers were very impressive like many other games he has played for Crystal Palace this season
  • Jordan Ayew has been labelled by his manager, Patrick Vieira as the "most hardworking" player in the team even though he's been criticized for not scoring as much

While Jordan Ayew may not have scored a goal in Crystal Palace's 3:0 victory over last placed Norwich in the EPL, the Ghanaian's game numbers were phenomenal.

Jordan Ayew was everywhere for Patrick Vieira's team, helping out wherever he was needed whether defense or attack and the numbers back that up.

Jordan Ayew did not only rack up the most duels and attracted the most fouls, but made a huge number of ball recoveries for a forward.

According to statistics by football app, FotMob, sighted by Sportsbrief.com, the Ghana Black Stars winger was the most fouled player in the game with six fouls, won the most ground and air duels, (12), and made a second best six ball recoveries.

Jordan Ayew's performance saw him earn a fifth best rating of 7.8 on the FotMob football app and a fourth highest 7.15 rating by BBC.

Three first-half goals from Odsonne Edouard, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Jeffrey Schlupp helped Palace climb into the top half of the Premier League table at 10th above Brighton, who play Chelsea today, Wednesday.

Although covid-19 struck manager, Patrick Vieira was not in the dugout for the game, he would have been very pleased with yet another outstanding work rate from the Ghana Black Stars forward.

Jordan Ayew will be leaving England to join his national team mates in Doha, Qatar as they ramp up preparations ahead of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) African Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be staged in Cameroon come January 2022.
