Cristiano Ronaldo was on Wednesday, December 22, among Manchester United players who resumed back to training for the first time since the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Carrington training ground was closed due to the recent disturbance of the Omicron in which Manchester United chiefs were cautious.

According to the latest report on Manchester Evening, they explained that the Red Devils' players are returning to training in groups after the ground was reopened.

The COVID-19 outbreak in the United squad forced both of their games last week to be postponed, with the trip to Brentford and the Old Trafford game with Brighton two of nine Premier League fixtures to be called off.
