"That was the aim before the tournament, to come top of the group and control our own destiny,” he said. "Tonight was a tough game. I thought we played a lot better than the other two games, a lot more energy and better on the ball. We just couldn't find that final ball and final finish.”
He admitted that the team needed more quality with the final finish, but the games were tough and wouldn't get easier going forward.
