Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, has fired back at Nigerian coach, Finidi George, over his comments after the Super Eagles' poor results in the World Cup qualifiers.
The former Lille striker missed Nigeria's clash with South Africa and the Benin Republic due to a muscle injury he suffered in Napoli's last game of the 2023-24 season in the Italian Serie A.
He was initially included in the squad list for both qualifiers but withdrew after the injury problem happened.
Reports have it that Finidi George feels the Nigerian striker could still have managed to play the two matches, but he's committed enough to the national team.
