According to data from Transfermarkt, he scored just eight goals in all competitions despite featuring 43 times for the Red Devils, a significant drop from last season, where he scored 30.

This led England national team manager Gareth Southgate to omit him from the Three Lions preliminary 33-man squad, ruling him out of Euro 2024.

Rashford admits to driving offence

Rashford is currently on vacation after wrapping up the season winning the FA Cup after beating city rivals Manchester City 2-1 in the final at Wembley Stadium.

According to Daily Star, he has admitted to speeding beyond the 70mph speed limit while driving his Rolls Royce on the M60 in Manchester on December 12, 2023.

Under the Single Justice Procedure, the 26-year-old will learn his fate on September 27, when a single magistrate will issue the penalty without a court hearing and the defendant, public or press being present.

The Wythenshawe-born star went off social media two days after the season ended, claiming he needed to reset after the season. He thanked the fans who stood by him and sent a message to those who didn't.

Rashford explains emotional celebration

Sports Brief reported on Rashford explaining his emotional celebration after Manchester United beat Manchester City to win the 2024 FA Cup final at Wembley.

The lifelong United fan and player was in tears after the final whistle. He took to his social media pages to explain the reason behind his tearful celebration.
