Ghana striker, Antoine Semenyo, has disclosed the player who gave him the toughest moment in his career after an impressive campaign in the just-ended Premier League season.
Semenyo finished the season as AFC Bournemouth's second-top scorer behind England international Dominic Solanke.
The 24-year-old was making his first full season in the Premier League after joining the Cherries from Bristol City in January 2023.
Although his first campaign was marred by injuries, Semenyo was only second to Solanke as Bournemouth's best player last season.

After meeting some of the best defenders in the league, including Brazil legend Thiago Silva, Semenyo remains haunted by the day he played against Liverpool's Virgil Van Dijk.
“Hardest defender I faced is Van Dijk. I remember running behind then all I hear is this man’s footstep 'DUM DUM DUM’ chasing me. I tried to shoot, but his aura put me off. It’s tough," he told Earn Your Stripes, as quoted by Ghana Soccernet.
Semenyo managed to score against Van Dijk's Liverpool during a Premier League game at Anfield last season.
The Ghana international ended the campaign with eight goals and two assists in 33 EPL games, per Transfermarkt.
