Kaizer Chiefs chairman Kaizer Motaung is said to be spearheading discussions with Nasreddine Nabi, who has been linked to take up the club's coaching job.

Amakosi boss and his son Bobby Motaung are leading negotiations with the FAR Rabat tactician and his representatives for a possible appointment.

Chiefs have been without a permanent coach since Molefi Nteski was sacked barely five months into his contract.

Ntseki led the club to four wins, three draws, and six losses before he was relieved of his duties, while Cavin Johnson was drafted to the position on a temporary basis.

The South African reports that the tactician earlier held talks with Chiefs, but he ended up joining FAR Rabat.

Nabi's team are currently in second place in the Botola Pro League, one point behind Raja Athletic Club, who are unbeaten this season.
