The Blues are no stranger to buying up young talent and have splashed out the cash in recent seasons on a host of attacking stars.

The likes of Cole Palmer, Christopher Nkunku, Raheem Sterling, Mykhaylo Mudryk, Noni Madueke, and Nicolas Jackson currently provide Chelsea’s attacking threats. Still, it’s only Palmer who has regularly scored for the side.

With the club appointing Enzo Maresca as its new manager, new faces are also expected to be added to the squad.

Williams could potentially be one of the new faces coming in.

Barcelona

Like Chelsea, Barca will also have a new coach for the new season and will be looking to freshen up their squad.

As noted by Football Espana, Hansi Flick’s side have identified the 21-year-old as their top transfer target.

Barca have João Félix, Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Vitor Roque, Robert Lewandowski and Marc Guiu in attack, but only managed 79 goals in attack last season.
