Ghana and Athletic Bilbao forward, Inaki Williams, has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Patricia Morales at a plush event in the city of Bilbao.

The 29-year-old forward took the opportunity of missing Ghana's World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic to settle down with his lover in a beautiful ceremony.

The newly-wedded couple have been dating for seven years, with Morales being by the player's side since the early days of his career.

In attendance at the ceremony held at the Basilica of Begoña, in Vizcaya, were his family including younger brother Nico Williams, teammates from Athletic Bilbao and friends.

Hundreds of fans also were presented to witness the glamourous occasion as a son of the soil marries a woman from Bilbao.

Inaki's partner, Ms Morales arrived in an Audi A6 with her father, who presented her with a lovely bouquet of white roses. Her father then walked her down the aisle amid friends and family cheering and singing to beautiful hyms.

Her dress designed by Sophie et Voilá had a classic and timeless design, with a bateau neckline, fitted silhouette and close-fitting sleeves, according to Vanitatis El Confidential.

Williams undergoes surgery to remove glass from foot

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana forward, Inaki Williams underwent surgery to remove a piece of glass from his foot and will miss the final game of the season in La Liga.

The Athletic Bilbao star went under the knife on Tuesday, May 21, to correct the defect after almost two years of playing with the item in his left foot.
