Mohammed Kudus has won the Europa League Goal of the Season following votes by fans of the European competition.
The Ghana international scored an amazing solo goal in the round of 16 of the Europa League against German outfit Freiburg, the first of his two goals in the 5-0 thrashing of the Bundesliga side.
Kudus picked the ball from his own half before powering his way past three defenders and finishing with his weaker foot.
According to UEFA, the West Ham star secured the most votes from fans to win Goal of the Season ahead of Ademola Lookman and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

Lookman and Aubameyang came first and second respectively in the best goal ratings by UEFA's Technical Observer Panel, with Kudus coming third.
However, after fans were allowed to pick their favourite, the majority voted for the Ghanaian with David Douděra of Slavia Praha and Robert Aldrich of Bayer Leverkusen coming second and third with their strikes against AC Milan and AS Roma respectively.
Kudus' Europa League campaign came to an end after defeat to eventual finalist, Bayer Leverkusen, in the quarter-final stage. He also scored five goals in the competition, per Transfermarkt.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Nigeria forward, Ademola Lookman won the Europa League Goal of the Season after leading Atalanta to success in the competition.
