Barely 24 hours after winning the DStv Premiership title, Mamelodi Sundowns star Thembinkosi Lorch was spotted in a nightclub with two 'beauties'.

The 30-year-old seems to be having the time of his life after winning the league for the first time in his career as a professional footballer.

Lorch scored 2 goals in 18 matches and also registered three assists in the just concluded Premier Soccer League season.

According to Footystats, Lorch's goals scored per 90 minutes is 0.14. Moreover, his total G/A (goals + assists) is 5 for this season.

The platform added:

"His goal involvement equates to 0.36 per 90 minutes. His non-penalty xG per 90 minutes is 0.21.
"This puts Thembinkosi Lorch's npxG output at 2.67 which puts him in the top 84 percentile of Premier Soccer League players."

Meanwhile, the former Orlando Pirates star has taken the celebrations to a whole new level.

'Nyoso', as he is fondly called, was spotted inside a nightclub in company of two ladies. The star was seen holding both beauties close while loud music reverberated the arena.

He was later seen with a glass of drink, underlining his state of happiness after getting more than R1m in bonuses.

The clip has since gone viral on social media and has attracted mixed reactions from fans. One said:

"A part of me doesn't blame him because he is not used to winning bigger titles, so the excitement of getting more than R1m bonus is just too much for him."

Another suggested:

"Lorch ended or made things to be difficult in their relationship with Natasha Tahane because this is the life he wanted to live."

A fan wrote:

"Women and substance abuse have been the biggest downfall of South African footballers. Generation after generation, but still people such as Thembinkosi Lorch don't wanna learn from the previous generation's mistakes.

Sundowns unbeaten streak ends

Sports Brief earlier reported that Mamelodi Sundowns' stellar 2023-24 DStv Premiership campaign concluded on a bittersweet note, despite securing the top spot in the standings.

The Brazilians, who had been nothing short of exceptional throughout the league season, had high hopes of finishing the campaign undefeated, thereby becoming the first team in the history of the South African top-flight to achieve this.

However, their faultless league season would be dealt a heartbreaking blow when defender Mothobi Mvala, in a moment of lack of concentration, failed to effectively control the ball and lost it to the onrushing Jaedin Rhodes as the ball somehow ended in their own net.
