Per Transfermarkt, he has registered an impressive tally of 16 goal involvements (10 goals and 6 assists) in just 19 appearances. His versatility and ability to operate effectively in various attacking positions have only added to his allure.

According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, two of the Premier League's heavyweights, Chelsea and Manchester United, are leading the race to secure Olise's signature in the upcoming transfer window.

The Blues, who already boast a wealth of attacking options, may need to offload at least one of their wingers to accommodate the potential acquisition of Olise.

On the other hand, United sees the youngster as an upgrade on their current options. Despite missing out on Champions League football, the Red Devils are said to be edging ahead of their rivals, Liverpool and Arsenal, in pursuing the highly sought-after Anglo-French-Nigerian-Algerian player.

Amid preparations for a significant squad overhaul, Erik ten Hag has reportedly identified the French youth international as a potential catalyst for restoring the club's former glory, per ESPN.

Olise's journey to the top has been intriguing. As a schoolboy, he was on Chelsea's books before being released. After impressing at Reading, he signed for Crystal Palace in 2021, where he has continued to showcase his talent.

Five players Man United want

Sports Brief also listed five players Man United want to sign in the upcoming transfer window.

Erik ten Hag has reportedly drawn up a transfer shortlist of players he wants the club to target.

United have endured a mixed run of form and have struggled for consistent results this season.
