Ademola Lookman undoubtedly put himself in the shopping window with his stellar outing against Bayer Leverkusen in the final of the Europa League.

The mercurial forward with a memorable hat-trick was solely responsible for putting an end to the German Bundesliga side's unbeaten run, as well as clinching Atalanta's maiden trophy since the 1962/63 season.

However, following the brilliant display by the 26-year-old, reports of a flurry of elite clubs weighing the potential of making a transfer swoop for the Europa League winner have surfaced.

Further reports have also emerged detailing that the current club, Atalanta, might be interested in listening to worthy offers for the Nigerian. In light of this, Sports Brief spotlights three clubs eyeing a transfer swoop for Lookman.

Three clubs interested in Ademola Lookman

FC Barcelona

According to a report courtesy of Barcelona Universal, the Catalan club is eyeing a move for the Nigerian forward to bolster their attack in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The report also mentions that Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, and football coordinator, Bojan Krkic, were impressed by the Atalanta forward's performance. It has been suggested that the La Liga giants, who are seeking a versatile winger, might make a move for the Nigerian in the summer.

West Ham United

Recent reports have also indicated that Premier League club West Ham United could be considering a move for the Nigerian forward. The report suggests that new West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui and technical director Tim Steidten are keen on signing Lookman to strengthen their forward options for the upcoming season.

With West Ham currently lacking depth in attack, the addition of Lookman would undoubtedly bolster their attacking ranks.

Juventus

According to a report from Tutto Juve, in addition to Premier League clubs, Juventus are also keeping an eye on Lookman's situation.

However, they are not yet prepared to enter into a bidding war for the former Everton star.

The report suggests that Atalanta could be open to considering offers above €30 million for the UEFA Europa League hero.

Lookman still has two years remaining on his contract with Atalanta, whom he joined from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2022.

The 26-year-old has made seventy-six appearances in all competitions for the Nerazzurri, scoring 30 goals and providing 16 assists per data courtesy of Fotmob.

Gernot Rohr speaks on convincing Lookman

In another report, Sports Brief stated that former coach of the Super Eagles, Gernot Rohr, disclosed how he persuaded Lookman to play for Nigeria.

The versatile attacker had previously represented England at various youth levels and seemed poised to earn a call-up to the senior team for the Three Lions.
