A Premier League side have shown interest in signing Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, from Atalanta in the summer amid the Nigerian's links with Barcelona.

According to a report by Claret and Hugh, as per Soccernet, Lookman's performance in the final caught the eye of Premier League side West Ham, who are now interested in signing him in the summer.

The London-based club recently confirmed the appointment of former Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetuigi after parting ways with Scottish tactician David Moyes.

The Hammers look forward to landing the Nigerian international as Lopetuigi's first signing in the summer, but they will face stiff competition from Barcelona and Juventus.

The Nigerian is also linked with the Spanish giants who are also impressed with his performance.

West Ham are expected to part ways with Said Benrahma, who is returning to the club from a loan to Olympique Lyonnais. They are looking for a left winger who will complement Mohammed Kudus and Lucas Paqueta.

Lookman joining the Hammers in the summer would be a perfect addition to the West London side.
