Bring on Kylian Mbappe.

Robert Lewandowski made it clear in a recent interview that he is ready to face the Frenchman in La Liga.

The Barcelona forward welcomed the PSG star's rumoured move to Real Madrid, saying the Catalan giants are not afraid of that possibility.

Lewandowski expects Mbappe to join Real Madrid

Lewandowski told Marca that even though it's not official yet, it seems all roads lead to Real Madrid signing Mbappe. He praised the Frenchman, saying he's an incredible player and that Real Madrid will be even stronger when he joins.

He will embrace that challenge, though, saying that their mentality has to be that no matter how good the players of their opponents are, if they are a team and work together, they can beat them.

The Polish veteran added that they have to be ready from the first game and the first minutes next season because Real Madrid will probably need time with Mbappe's likely arrival.

He explained that they have to take advantage of Los Blancos not starting well and dropping points.

Lewandowski expects Barcelona to perform much better next season after a disappointing 2023-24 campaign. He said that they need to win games even if they are not at their best, which was what Real Madrid did a lot this past season.

Lewandowski backs Dortmund to win Champions League

The Polish forward also revealed that he will support Borussia Dortmund in this year's Champions League final. That choice will come as no surprise, given that Lewandowski played some of the best years of his career with the German club.

Also, he wouldn't want Real Madrid to add another silverware to their trophy cabinet this season. Los Blancos regained the La Liga trophy, finishing 12 points above Barcelona in the league table, per the BBC.

Mbappe's mom hints at son's Real move

Sports Brief also previously reported on Kylian Mbappe's PSG farewell party.

His mom and agent, Fayza Lamari, hinted at the PSG star joining Real Madrid.

Mbappe will leave the French giants at the end of this season as a free agent.
